New Year 2008

1 01 2008

First of all, Happy New Year! Yes, the teddy bear is back~ I really missed everyone, I’m glad I’m back. How was New Year for you guys?

I bare good and bad news alike. But I bet you already can tell what the good news is (that I am back) and that I ate all the ramen and other nice food I wanted in the hotel~~ I also had a hair cut just yesterday. I had a fairly pleasant time but I also had my bad crap along the way.

The first bad news is that my ears need doctor attention, I barely can hear anything from my left ear at all. I have no idea why, it all started when I woke up yesterday morning and I just can’t hear anything from my left side. I don’t think I’m half-deaf. I still can hear taps if I do it on that side, so I think something is troubling my ear. We will make a doctor appointment soon and see what can be done about it. I’m not too worried, it doesn’t seem serious at all– no pain of any kind. I can hear a little but it seems something is just blocking it. It was odd because I always do daily cleaning, so there shouldn’t be problems. Though, we’ll just wait for professional advice soon enough. I have to admit that I don’t feel very comfortable this way…

The last bad news is that I experienced something very weird at the hotel room we stayed in. My family left to go downstairs to go have dinner. However, I stayed behind with one of my older brothers because both of us were tired. We then slept early and was able to, at least for an hour or so. Then, December 31st– nearly New Year, around 11 PM, when I was woken up by my little puppy, Borgy. At first I thought he was just lonely and wanted attention, so I stroked him a bit to comfort him though naturally I was sleepy. I wanted to sleep again but he kept disturbing me. I then started to take time. In a bit, I found Borgy kept staring at something– at the direction of the bathroom. After a while of staring there, he kept barking. The thought came to me.

I was once told that paranormal activity can be detected better by animals than ordinary humans. I was never was the psychic type. I saw nothing in the direction of the bathroom but Borgy wouldn’t leave it alone. He wasn’t like that earlier on, which raised my suspicions even more. Perhaps… perhaps, something was there. I just couldn’t see. My heart raced and I stood away from the bed to go to the balcony, where at least I could see people downstairs partying and awaiting New Year. Even as I was out there, Borgy still was looking at the same place. My brother was already asleep so I didn’t want to disturb him. I endured the remaining time until my remaining family members downstairs returned to our room.

Man, I’m glad that I am home.

( ‘ _ ‘ ; My poor lovey. Well, good thing you have a doggie at least. I hope that your ear will be all right after your doctor’s visit. I’m glad you’re home though. <3; Just make sure to get a different hotel room from this year next year.

Lol, the bathroom is pretty bad. The most common place for uh… -cutting motion- … and all… …. …. Well, indeed. Get a new room next year.

Borgy is a very smart puppy, he can even detect if someone is approaching even if the person or vehicle isn’t even there yet. He also knows if the person or vehicle would stop or keep going. That’s why I didn’t doubt him if he saw something there…

This is the first time this happened, we’ve always stayed in that same hotel for years. We won’t change anytime soon because we always stay at the same hotel, we’re already known there as I mentioned previously. I would remember that room from now on, though, yes. 10th floor, number 51 (1051). Hopefully next year we would have a different room, which is actually likely.

Ouch… The ear part sounds really painful… And the puppy one was a bit scary to me. From what I know, when animals keep looking and barking at a place, something is there, maybe ghosts. I’m just so glad that you’re home…

No no. XD Don’t worry, my ears don’t hurt. I just feel highly comfortable with unbalanced hearing. I just feel my left ear is blocked, that’s all. I don’t think it’s anything serious. We’ll just have to wait until the doctor does something about it.

Yes, that’s that I thought, too… But yes, it’s a good thing it’s fully over. *hugs Mei-imouto*
